The Times in a lending article says ii regrets Hint the Ottawa Conference has resulted in llio likelihood of the disappearance of the Empire Marketing Board with its invaluable promolion of Empire trade, especially its cooperation with traders in smoothing U,c way of the Empire producer. The opinion is expressed that the Dominions may find it difiicult to secure such co-operation by other means. The paper urges the preservation of [lie hoard's organisation to assist the home producer in the selfgoverning colonies, leaving the door open to the Dominions to co-operate on a reciprocal basis,
