BOXING.
TE AROHA ASSOCIATION. The president, Mr J. A. Hepburn, stated at the annual meeting of the Te Aroha Boxing Association that last year’s debit balance of £ls had been reduced to £1 9s Bd. The recent tournament had shown a profit of £3 11s. The election of offloers resulted:— Patron, Hon. C. E. MacMillan, M.P.; president, Mr J. A. Hepburn; vicepresidents, Messrs A. D. Jones, S. Davies, R. H. Galloway and G. Barford; committee, Messrs R. Henderson, A. Dickson, R. Brenan, A. Wilson, G. Farmer, Ray, Price, F. W. Furkln, O. Jones, W. Keay, W. Jones, N. Goddard, E. Hinder, J. H. Evans and T. M. Curran; secretary, Mr O. Jones; treasurer, Mr G. A. Stuck; custodians of ring gear, Messrs Jones and Brenan; time-keepers, Messrs Galloway and Davies; gong stewards, Messrs A. D. Jones and A. G- Wilson; bon surgeons, Drs. Lawrenson and Cook; hon. solicitor, Mr T. Carroll; announcer, Mr E. C. Wytes; match committee, Messrs Brenan, Dickson, W. Jones and R. Henderson. It was decided to support the application of the Hawke’s Bay Association to hold the New Zealand championships next year at Hastings.
