NEW TRADE AGREEMENT

Trade agreements with Norway and Sweden have been signed by the British Government. The Daily Telegraph says it understands that Norway has undertaken to take 70 per ’cent of her coal from Britain and Sweden 48 per cent. Thu 3 British exports will be increased by 1,500,000 tons a year compared with 1931.
The Swedish agreement also provides for Increased importation of British steel and the duty On Swedish wrapping paper Is to be substantially reduced.
