HEARD IN AMERICA.
HAMILTON RADIO STATION.
NEW YORK AND CHICAGO
The remarkable range of racho stations broadcasting on comparatively low power was instanced in two reports received this morning by Mr G. S. Anchor, operator of Station IZII Hamilton. A New York listener, Mr Karl Halpern, of Brooklyn, reported reeffi-r tion or IZH at good strength o» *•*-» broadcast band early last month. A comprehensive report on two programmes broadcast from the Hamilton station was also forwarded by Mr Lionel F. Stetson, of Chicago, who gave details of the items, and mentioned that the station was received at good strength, and reception was very clear. Considering that the power of iZII is only so watts, compared with Wei- V liiigton’s f2 VA) 5009 watts, and the “ 50.000 waits ' of KFL the big Los Angeles station, which is received regularly in Hamilton, the range of the little local B class transmitter must be ragard-ed as remarkable.
