CARE OF THE TEETH.
GOOD TIMES.
BANKER PREDICTS THEM.
“I am quite satisfied that if the Government only knew that all banks have endeavoured to make interest rates as low as possible they would be able to appreciate the position better,” said Mr G. V. Oldham at a complimentary luncheon to him on his retirement from the position of Sydney manager o.f the Union Bank, at the Australia Hotel, Sydney. “We have " been going through troublesome times,” he went on,
“and we will continue to do so for some time to come, but when the difficulties of other countries are overcome and people are able to buy more clothes we will see the price of wool rise.
“Any how, Australia is doing as well as any other country, and has set an example to the world in her handling of the present-day problems.”
