CHRYSLER CUP TRIAL.
A strenuous mud scramble held by the Hamilton Motor-Cycle Club attracted an entry of about a dozen riders. The course was a most difficult one, and only five of the competitors reached the furthermost check;
After leaving Hamilton the riders travelled at a 25-mile per hour limit to a point on the main Baglan Road, From here they were sent through .a mud section of approximately four miles, which proved to be very treacherous going. This part of the course proved the undoing of the majority of the competitors, only five riders reaching the far ifieck.
After an acceleration and a brake test the riders were sent hack over the same route to the finishing check at Hamilton East. The results were as follows:—A. A. Harp (Velocette),
