INDOOR BOWLING
THE HAMILTON CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING HELD
There was a good attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Hamilton indoor Bowling Club last evening when Ihe president, Mr W. A. Curteis presided.
'l'he annual report disclosed a satisfactory year. In spile of the criticism levelled at indoor howling tiie members had done particularly well on the greens during last summer. A large number of young players who have never been on a howling green have joined the club. The balance sheet showed a credit balance. The report and balance sheet were adopted ns read. The following officers were elected: President, Mr AY. A. Curteis; vicepresidents, Messrs K. G. Johnson, H. Locke; secretary, Mr C. Davis; treasurer, Mr B. It. Lovegrove; auditor, Mr C. A. Speight: committee, Messrs N. Darlington, .1. Curteis, B. Elliott, G. Lymlnirn, ’l'. Hitchcock. 'Subscriptions were llxed at: Permanent members 15s, members not belonging to any howling club, 7s fid; associate members 5s and Gd a session; lady members, ss. A sub-committee was set up to revise ilie rules. A strong social committee was also formed.
If the support warrants it the floor will he re-condilioned. Opening night was left to the President lo arrange and ii was decided to invite His Worship the Mayor to preside.
