LONDON, May 15
M- William Sheerwood, presiding at. the Engineering and Shipbuilding Trades’ Federation, stated that Soviet orders aggregating £4,000,000 sterling had been suspended, involving unemployment for thousands of the federation’s workers, owing to the Government’s hasty ill-advised breach with Russia.

• Besides placing in Australia recently cancelled English orders, the Soviet has decided to buy Australian wool 'direct, and will establish speolal agencies at Perth and Melbourne. The Soviet has approved plans for bartering with Australia, especially Jn respect to Western Australian wool.
