GIRL’S RASH ACT.
POISON AFTER QUARREL.
(From a Correspondent.) SYDNEY, May 1
At the inquest into the death of Mavis Johnston, aged 17, who committed suicide by taking poison at her home, the girl’s mother, Teresa Johnston, stated that she had words with her daughter concerning a frock. Shortly afterwards she had occasion to go out, and on her return learned that her daughter had been taken to hospital. The coronor returned a verdict of suicide.,
