MR J. O’REILLY, M.L.C. United Press Assn.— Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received May 15, 2.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 15. The death’is announced, of Mr Jchn O’Reilly, M.L.C., aged 45. Deceased was appointed to the Upper House in 1931 on the recommendation of the Lang: Government. ARCHDEACON H. E. ENSOR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Monday. The death occurred at Waikawa, Pioton, of Archdeacon Harold Edward Ensor, formerly Archdeacon of Akaroa, and before that in charge of several cures in Canterbury. Deceased had been a complete invalid since 1909. He is survived by his widow and one son, Mr Edward Ensor, of Rydal Downs, Canterbury and two daughters, Mrs Reginald I’earcy, of Grove, and Mrs C. L. Wilson, of the Vicarage, gouthbridge, Canterbury. MR HENRY HAMMOND. BLENHEIM, Monday. The death is announced of Mr Henry Hammond, of Fairhall, aged 92 years, one of the original Nelson pioneers. Deceased reached Nelson with his parents in the ship Lord Auckland in February. 1842. He spent his boyhood In Nelson. and took up land in Marlborough in 1870. He was widely respected. Mr Hammond's death, directs attention to the fact, that now the sole surviving member of the Lord Auckland's complement is M- William Colo, of Wakefield, Nelson, who' will be 98 years of age in October MR WILLIAM ROUT. NELSON, Monday. _ The death occurred Ibis morning of Mr William Rout, a prominent resident of Nelson. Deceased was the sole named executor in the will of Thomas Cawtliron, founder of the Cawthron Institute. .
