Mr. Ruttledge wirelesses: Greene Brooklebank, Wood Johnson and myself on May 5 joined the advance party already established at Camp No. & at 21,000 ft. There was much snow In the glacier trough and violent wind on the glacier itself.” <
[ Mr. Hugh Ruttledge, the leader of the expedition which is attempting to iscale Mount Everest, is an experienced Himalayan climber, lie has been on numerous previous expeditions and has had much experience in dealing !%vlth the sensitive Tibetans. Mr. T. A. Brocklebank is famous as the stroke of the victorious Cambridge rowing eight for three successive years. He Is an experienced Alpine climber. Dr. Raymond C. Greene was medical officer to the expedition which, a year or so ago, scaled Mount Kamet, the highest peak yet reached by man.
