HAMILTON OLUB. GILBEY CUP COMPETITION. The concluding round of the Gilbey Cup competition was played on St. Andrews links on Saturday. Two players —D. C. Coventry (16), and R. J. Love (13)—tied with an aggregate for the two rounds of all square. Coventry was square with bogey on both cards, while Love was 2 down and 2 up. G. C. Kissllng (13) was runner-up with 2 cards of 1 down each.
The best cards on Saturday were: — R. J. Love, 2 up; D. C. Coventry, W. C. Wynne, and J. Milne, all square; G. C. Kissling, P. G. Harkness and Dr. F. G. Blundell, 1 down; J. H. Clarken, L. V. Bellingham, 11. J. McMullin, A. G. Cradwiclc and W. D. Ross, 2 down; R. F. Edmonds, P. G. Russell and D. R. Wood, 3 down.
The tie between Love and Coventry was played off at the week-end, and was won by the first-named with an all-square card, Coventry finishing two down. HOLED IN ONE. WAIUKU, Saturday. Playing in a qualifying round for the Duff Cup on the Waiuku Golf Club’s links to-day, «W. S. Cclbeck holed in one at the seventh. ROCKY DOWNS CLUB. An 18-hole medal handicap was played on Saturday, resulting as follows: —D. R. Abcrncthy, 99—36 —63; 11. G. Keeley, 81—11 —70; J. Carruthers, junr., 93 —-2d —73.
