The second and concluding day of the Marlborough Racing Club’s Autumn meeting was held to-day in good weather. The track was in good order. Following were the concluding results: — OMAKA HACK, of £6O; 7 furlongs.—2—2 PURSE, 8.12, 1; I—l Korero, S.B; 2; 4—3 Capetown, 8.2, 3. Also started: Lady Ronald, 8.11; Porlock, Pedestral, 7.7. Won by three-quarters of a length; with two lengths between second and third. Time, 1.29 1-5. RENWICKTOWN TROT, of £SO; limit 2.24; 1 mile.—l Janice, limit, 1; 3 Guystar, limit, 2; 2 Bell o’ Mine, 84yds, 3. Only starters. Won by a neck; with twenty lengths between second and third. The totalisator handled £3600, against £3096 on the second day last year, an increase of £264. SOUTHLAND MEETING. SECOND DAY’S EVENTS. INVERCARGILL, Saturday. The second and concluding day .of the Southland Racing Club’s winter meeting was held, to-day in dull weather b&fore a good attendance. The track was heavy. Following were the concluding results:— RITCHIE MEMORIAL STEEPLECHASE, of £12.5; about 2J miles.—i Diamond Jack, 9.12, 1; 2 Nylotis, 10.11, 2. Only starters. Won by five furlongs. Nylotis fell. Time, 5.36 4r5.

AWARUA HANDICAP, of £150; li miles.— 2—3 TOREADOR, 7.8, 1; 4—2 Jack a Dandy, 7.9, 2; 6—6 Palmary, 7.0, 3. Also started: The Smuggler, 9.2; Mount Boa, 8.4; Night Maid, 7.0.

At the Tattersall’s Club meeting at Randwick yesterday an exhibition gallop was done by Winooka, who shortly leaves for America. Carrying J. Pike, who was wearing Union Jack colours, Winooka, looking a perfect picture, cantered down the straight to the accompaniment of the applause of the ■race crowd. He then galloped three furlongs in 39s and was cheered on his way back to the saddling paddock. Some New Zealand-owned and bred horses raced at the meeting, but none was successful. Love Song was second in the Welter Handicap, in which Forestry ran unplaced, and Panjandrum was sixth in the James Barnes Plate. Closing Time, who finished seoond in the Flying Handicap, Is owned ■ by J. T, Jamieson, former New . Zealand trainer.
