Several little dogs in Gonville have recently been attacked by an Alsatian, which appears to take a delight In gripping hold of Ills prey and tossing them in the air (says the Wanganui Herald). One of his special victims Is ail English l'ox terrier, which lias been badly mauled on several occasions, and is at present suffering from a serious injury to his back as a result of being so attacked. If llie owners of Alsatians will not take steps to prevent them displaying sucli wolfish habits then the authorities should act and insist ou Alsatians being muzzled.
