STRIKE IN SPAIN.
TRAFFIC HELD UP.
POLICE PATROL THE STREETS.
THE GOVERNMENT WARNED. (Times Cable.l LONDON, April 25. The National Confederation of Labour has ordered a two-day strike throughout the country which has begun at Barcelona, and Almeria. Trams and buses were stopped, the strikgrs strewing the roads with tacks. The police are patrolling the streets. ■ The Opposition is demanding that the Government resign. The Times’ Madrid correspondent says that municipal elections have given the Government a stern warning that the country dislikes its Socialists’ connections. The three ministerial parties total 3841 seats, and the others nearly 13,000. Only 28 monarchists and 26 Communists were elected. There were seven fatalities during the election 'disorders.
