OBITUARY.
MR. ARNOLD FOSTER.
GISBORNE, Wednesday
Advice has been received of the death at San Francisco of Mr. Arnold Foster, a member of a well-known Gisborne family, who-as a young man went to America, and in time, attained the treasurership and later vice-pre-sidency of Hie Bethlehem Steel Corporation, a position which he held for many years.
During the war Mr. Foster was given charge of works established at Montreal, for the construction of submarines for the allies. At the time of his death,.as a result of a motor accident, lie was president of the AllAmerican Steel Products Company. MR PERCY BOYD. AUCKLAND, Thursday. The death occurred yesterday of Mr Percy Boyd, who was in practice at Pukekohc as a denial surgeon for many years. Mr Boyd was 48 years of age. MR CHARLES G. OQILVIE. FORMERLY BANK INSPECTOR, TAURANGA, Thursday. The dcaili occurred 10-tlay of Mr Charles Green Ogilvie, formerly manager of the Union Bank of Australia at Christchurch and late Chief Inspector at Wellington. After his retirement he came to Tnuranga about a year ago. He is survived by a widow, five daughters, and one son. One daughter Is a missionary In Canton.
