The council, towards the close of the year, passed the necessary special order to raise a loan of £7300 to enable the benefits of sewer drainage to he made available in the outlying areas of Hamilton East and Frankton, and authority to proceed with the loan has been received from the Government,” stated the town clerk (Mr W.
