Despite 'the inclement weather there was a large attendance of members and visitors at the official opening of the Ngaruawahia Golf Club . In the absence of the president, Air. Iv. Af. Wright, ttie season was declared open by Air D. R. Welch. The club captain, Air A. B. Galbraith, drove the first ball, after which mixed foursomes were played.
