LATE MR PRENDERGAST.
HILLCREST SCHOOL TRIBUTE. “I cannot let the oocaslon pass without paying a tribute to the late Mr E. C. Prendergast,” said Mr H. Edgecumbe at the annual meeting of the llillcrcst School Committee on Monday evening. “He is very muoh missed by everyone and we appreciate very much the services he rendered to us.” “He was a popular figure with all," said the chairman (Mr E. M. Masters), “and we greatly regret his loss.” It was decided to Incorporate in the minutes a motion regretting the loss suffered by tho community in .Mr Prendergast’s death.
