OBITUARY.
REV. F. T. HARRIS. MOTUEIvA, Wednesday. The Rev. Francis Thomas Harris, Methodist- minister at Motueka, died last week, after a -long illness, at the age of 44 years. He was born near Christchurch, and after entering the ministry was stationed at Temuka, Ohoka, North Canterburv, Pukekohe, Taitapu, Canterbury, and Motueka. He leaves a wife and two children. MRS T. M. HOCKEN. Cabled intimation has been received of the death in South Africa of Mrs T. M. llocken, formerly of Dunedin. Mrs llocken was a member of the Duck land family, which was formerly well-known in 'the Walouaiti district, and was very closely associated with her husband, Dr. llocken, In making the groat collection of manuscripts presented by liiip to the. University of Otago and ' the llocken Library.
