WEDDING
HALVERSON —FOSTER. The wedding was celebrated at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Cambridge, on Wednesday last between Hilda Mary, youngest daughter of Mrs and the late Mr J. Foster, of Cambridge, and Victor Charles, youngest son of Mr and the late Mrs Halverson, of Auckland. The Rev. Jas. Richards performed the ceremony, and Mrs Cumma'ck was the organist. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr Sid. Foster, wore a nigger brown model frock of diagonal cloth with cape effect trimmed with fur. She .carried a sheaf of autumn-tinted chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid, Miss Muriel Foster (cousin of the bride) wore a frock of cornflower blue with Oriental trimming, and carried a bouquet of pink and white chrysanthemurqj;. Mr Wni; Curtis, of Auckland, was best man.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's
mother. Mrs Foster received her guests in a frock of black satin beaute with hat to tone. She carried a posy of scarlet roses.
