HAMILTON CLUB. ’ 4 The weather was very boisterous on Saturday when a bogey handicap was played on St. Andrews links. , Very heavy showers sent ' the players quickly to shelter and it is doubtful if anyone went round without taking advantage cf a plantation or a deep bunker. Very few cards were handed in and those who did keep the scores were all, down on bogey.

The only cards returned were as follows: J. F. Strang, C. H. IL Clarke, and R. W. G. Rutherford, 3 down; A. E. McCracken, 4 down; A. H. Ward and A. Maroroft, 5 down. The play off of this competition will, take place in conjunction with the first round of the Gilbey Cup on Majj 6-1 v
