POLO.
MATAMATA CLUB. At a meeting of the Matamata Polo Club Mr Seflon Banks presided over a good attendance. The secretary reported a credit balance on tBo sports meeting of £32 lls, which was considered very satisfactory. All playing members of the club are financial, and the general account has a credit balance of £7 !9s Id. It was decided to have the cup, won by Mr Earl Johnston, suitably inscribed. New Year’s Day was made the annual dale for the sports meeting, and tiie secretary was instructed to apply to the Matamata Racing Club for that date.
It was decided to hold the annual meeting on October 6.
