Mr G. D. Hill, of Suva, is at the Hamilton Hotel. Dr. A. S. Brewis was elected a life member of the Hamilton Beautifying Society last night. Mr W. Goodfellow returned this morning from Wellington, where he had 'been conferring with the Government on dairy export matters. Archdeacon W. J. Hands, formerly vicar of Suva, will take charge of Holy Trinity Church, Avonside, after Easter. Mr R. D. Duxlield left to-day for To Puke to judge the milking shorthorns at the Te Puke show. Mr. F. J. B. Ryburn, of Paterangi, is judging the pedigree Jersey classes at the Te Puke show. Mr. W. Fisher of Pukerimu, is attending the same fixture to act as Judge in the light horses class. The acting-vicar of Otorohanga, the Rev. E. R. Wright, has been notified of his appointment to the Huntly parish. Lieutenant-Colonel Sir P. Lee Brocklehurst, of Macclesfield, England, wtio has spent two months in New Zealand, left Auckland by the Monowai for Sydney to-day. Dr. E. F. d’Ath, professor of pathology at Otago University, has left Dunedin en route to Canberra, where he will attend the Australian Cancer Research 'Congress. Mr Dynes Fulton, chairman of directors of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, returned tin's morning from Wellington, where he attended a meeting of the Dairy Pro-, duce Board yesterday.
