The age-old Hindu-Moslem religious antagonism exacted a heavy toll in India during the last two years, according to a statement made in the Central Legislature, showing that the total riot casualties in 1031 were 353 killed and 17 40 injured, and in 1932 there were 323 killed and 2935 injured.
