Goering, Controller of the Prussian Police, has created a sensation toy instructing the police that the activities of organisations hostile to the State must be rigorously opposed. Communist acts of terrorism must be repelled with, the utmost severity and If neoessary weapons must be used • ruthlessly. He said: “ Policemen using revolvers and guns In the exercise of their duty will be protected toy me regardless of the consequences of their shooting.”
On the other hand, the police must avoid any suggestion of hostilities against Nationalist organisations such as the Storm Troops and Steel Helmets, which contain the best elements of the State.
