DOMINION POLITICS.
NEW PARTY PROPOSED. MEETING AT AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, Monday. A meeting intended to launch a new political party, to be called the Seddon Liberal Party of New Zealand, and to protest against the new taxation impositions, was attended by 600 or 700 people last evening. When a motion calling upon the Government to resign was put at the close of the meeting those in favour appeared to make the large volume of sound, buL no decision on the point was given by the chairman. The principal speaker was Mr A. J. Stallworthy, M.P. for Eden, who explained that ho was present at the invitation of the new party.
