AUSTRALIANS AT THAMEB, AN EASY WIN. THAMES, Saturday. Excellent weather prevailed for the' visit of the two Australian tennis players, G. R. Dunlop and .T. N. Purcell. Dr. Cray met Dunlop, being defeated 6—3, 6—o. j Purcell beat Wright, 6—2, 6—l, being much above him in play. Purcell was not, extended at any time. A preliminary match was played between C. J. Garland and E. Murphy* Ihe former winning easily by 9—2. Miss Shand, in a hard-fought match, defeated Mrs Glover, S—6. In Hie doubles Purcell and Dunlop beat Gray and Wright, 6—3, 6—2, 6—3.
