Publio Noti'oe is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council held the Ist February 1933 the following resolution was passed by way of Speolal Order and that suoh Speolal Order will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the. .Council to be held at the Municipal Buildings, Alma Street, at 7.30 p.m. on WEDNESDAY Bth March 1933: "In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in It In that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and Section 24 of tho Health Aot 1920 and any other Acts thereunto it enabling, the Hamilton Borough Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order to raise a loan not exceeding £7300 for the purpose of constructing the sanitary works mentioned and described in a Requisition of the Board of Health dated the 25th day of JANUARY 1933 to wit, drainage works, sewerage works, and works for the disposal of sewage for the purpose of affording drainage to certain areas of the Borough of Hamilton namely the Wilson Street-Galloway Street area, Klllarney Road-Ellis Street area, Graham Street, Nixon Street and Naylor Street, Including the cost of all necessary labour, materials, plants, tools, engineer’s fees, supervision, plans, compensation to owners of property, and advances under Section 228 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1920 to owners of properties in the said areas, such loan to be for a period not exceeding 30 years with interest at a rate not exceeding five and one half per centum per annum and a sinking fund of not less than one and a half per centum per annum and to be secured by a special rate of onefourteenth of a penny in the pound (£) on the rateable value (Unimproved) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hamilton as at the 31st day of March 1982.” Dated at HAMILTON this 2nd day of February 1933.
