STRIKERS BARRICADED. FOUR KILLED, 31 INJURED. KING CAROL AND COMMUNISTS. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. BUCHAREST, Feb. 16. Latest reports indicate that the situation apparently Is highly inflammable. It is stated that there is a considerable Communist movement throughout the country which King Carol is determined to suppress. Seven hundred and fifty strikers are to be tried by court-martial. The most dramatio incident of the fight at the railway workshops was when a strike leader brandishing a blazing torch tried to encourage his comrades, who were armed with steel rods, revolvers, and others weapons, to face the advancing troops, who fired a volley. The leader fell dead. All the garrisons in Rumania have been mobilised on a war footing. The Government's position Is beooming more difficult every hour.
