Sir Harold Boulton, Bt., of Surrey, England, who has been visiting Hamilton, left to-day for Rotorua.
'Canon Grant Cowan, of Auckland, will preach at the evening service of St. Peter’s Cathedral to-morrow.
Mr W. von Stunner of Dunedin, is a visitor to Hamilton.

Mr F. Auld has been appointed registrar of births and deaths of Maoris at lluntlv, and Mr R. D. Wilson to a similar office at Morrinsville.
The Bishop of Waikato visited Kawhia yesterday and 'conducted a confirmation service. This afternoon he will attend a sale of work at NgaruaWahia.
Mr J. C. Tietjcns and Mr J. T. Johnson were elected lay representatives on the Methodist Stationing Committee at the Dominion Conference in Auckland yesterday.
Mr Dynes Fulton, chairman of directors of the New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Company Limited, returned this morning from Wellington where lie attended a meeting of the Dairy Produce Board.
Mr J. Stanley Millington, conductor of the orchestra on board the “Carintiiia,” which arrived in Auckland yesterday on q world cruise, is visiting Hamilton. 'He is the guest of Mrs Winlerbotlom, Palmerston Street.
II is gazetted that the Hon. Colonel F. W. Furkcrt, C.M.G., Reserve of officers, relinquishes the appointment of Director of Works, and that Mr .). McKenzie, the present Puplic Works Kngiiicer-in-Chief, is appointed to that office with honorary rank of colonel.
Sir Samuel Hordern, of Sydney, arrived in Hamilton yesterday Horn Waitomo Caves. He leaves this afternoon for Auckland. Travelling with him are Sir James Murdoch and Messrs W. C. Douglas and E- M. P. Sheedy, other prominent Australian business men. ______
