SCHOOL TENNIS.

PRIMARY CHAMPIONSHIPS. TOURNAMENT IN HAMILTON. YOUTHFUL PLAYERS IN ACTION. A very high standard of play characterised the annual tournament of the Hamilton primary schools, which was commenced on the Rosstrevor Street courts this morning. The best players from seven of the local schools were entered, only one entry from each being allowed in the various sections. All the preliminary rounds were concluded and semi-final stages reached to-day. The finals will be decided on Tuesday afternoon. Following were the results of today’s play:— Senior Boys’ Singles.
