WOMEN’S GOLF.

A BRITISH TEAM. MAY VISIT AUSTRALIA. A team of four leading British women golfers, with a manager who will act as reserve, may visit Australia for six weeks, beginning in September, 1933. Miss Rene Austin, hon. secretary of the Australian Ladies' Golf Union, has received a cable to that effect from the English Ladies’ Golf Union. Australia would, the message stated, have to bear all expenses incurred by the team after it landed in Australia. The proposal is to combine the visit to Australia with one to South Africa. The various State unions have been informed, and a decision on the matter from the Austradian end will he made in the near future. If there is a guarantee that first flight players will make the trip, the suggestion is well worthy or the support of the Australian Ladies’ Golf Union, says ah Australian writer.
