HAROLD LLOYD EXPRESS

ENGINE WITH SPECTACLEB. DELIGHTED WITH LONDON. The Harold Lloyd express steamed out from Victoria Station with passengers hound for Paris, says a London paper. Ordinarily this train is called the Golden Arrow, but on -this occasion the engine wore a giant pair of hornrimmed spectacles in honour of Its most distinguished passenger. Mr and lyirs Harold Lloyd were returning to Paris after a crowded and hurried visit to London, ‘‘l am sorry indeed to leave London,” said Mr Lloyd, “but even if 1 had no appointment in Paris I would have to go. lam already limp with hospitality, and I feel that if I were to stay any longer I should be killed with kindness.” Mrs Lloyd was tremendously thrilled by the reception given to her husband. ‘‘l never dreamt of anything like It,” she said. “Just let anyone in my hearing talk about the staid English and I shall let them hear what is good for them. Will you please thank everybody for me? ram going away so full of gladness and gratitude I could cry." So these two most unaffected, most charming people went on their way waving good-bye like children on a picnlo; and those at the station waved back to the two finest ambassadors Hollywood has yet sent to London.
