“Wlldflower” at Paoroa. Two performances of "Wlldflower” were given by the Pacroa Operatic Society this week. Mr L. 0. East was producer and Mr V. J. Innes music director. "Charley’s Aunt” In Christchurch. “Charlie's Aunt” will be produced at Christchurch in February, The Marjorie Alexander Committee is undertaking the production, the proceeds to lie divided between that fund and the Nurse Maude Poor and Sick Fund. Bernard Bcebv, late of J. C. Williamson, Ltd., will be in charge of the production, and will play the name part. The cast includes Audrey Cotteriil, Agnes Hichardson, Mavis Ritchie, Bessy Hollander, Alan ftrown. Harold Shaw, Cyril Collins and Fred Hale. Other Activities. “The Kingdom of Cod” was presented by the Auckland Catholic Repertory Society for two nights this week. Kiore King, producer for the Canterbury Repertory Theatre at Christchurch, is spending a holiday with her father at Hastings. * * * * “ Rope.” a powerful drama, will tie staged by the Auckland Little Theatre next week.

Estall, the judge, commenting on the test selections at the Masterton contest, were absolutely beautiful, but then they were spoilt by that great disaster of band muslo, bad intonation and wrong Ideas.
