AFTERNOON TEA.

FOR r/lISS E. R. EDWARDS. On Thursday afternoon the Hamilton branch of the Nelson Girls’ College Old Girls’ Association entertained Miss Edwards at afternoon tea. It was the last branch meeting at which Miss Edwards, who was largely responsible for the formation of the branch and who has been one of its most valuable and enthusiastic members, would be able to be present.

The president, Mrs Fowler, in asking Miss Edwards to accept a posy of

flowers from die college old girls, referred not only to what the association owed her, but also to the splendid work she had done for the Waikato Diocesan School, and wished her equal success in Auckland.
