Mrs Walter Seavill, of Hamilton, is •visiting Wellington to meet her eister, Mrs Moss, of Perth, who arrived In New Zealand by the Maunganui. • * • * Mrs R. G. Guy, of Hamilton, is the guest of Mrs Jack Bailey, Tirau. * * * * Mrs D. H. Guthrie, of Wellington, arrived in Hamilton this morning on a visit. * • * * Mrs F. Hardy, of Tamahere, will return home during the week-end from a visit to Mrs J. Allen, Morrinsville. * * * * -Mrs Faulkner, Ongoroto, and Mrs Ryan, Hamilton, have been appointed voluntary organisers for the Waikato Federation of Women's Institutes. * * * * Miss Ellaline Bell, of Hamilton, la visiting Auckland. Ryan, Chisholm, Hutt, Earle, Gardner Brown, Faulkner, and Miss Waterhouse. * ♦ <* * The Arts and Crafts and Gardening Circles of the Lyceum Club will hold t-heir open afternoon and evening on Tuesday, December 6th. A very special display has been arranged and members are privileged to bring two friends. * * * • On Saturday afternoon next the Frankton Committee of the Plunket Society will hold a plain and fancy dress party for children in St. George’s Hall, Somerset Street. Afternoon tea will be provided, Father Christmas will be in attendance, and every child will receive a gift. * * * • The Post’s London representative writes: Lady Wllford is thinking of leaving for a brief visit to New Zealand either in January or February by one of the vessels of the New Zealand Steam Ship Company. There are business affairs which she wishes to arrange. In all likelihood her stay will not be more than five weeks, as she anticipates being in London again in time for the Court presentations of the 1933 season.
