Music In Sohools. —The opinion that tuition in music is an Important subject in a school Curriculum was expressed at the last mooting of the Russell Street School Committee at Palmerston North by ttie 'chairman (Mr A. J. Philllpps). “I think that we. should have a great deal more music, in our community life, too,” ho added. His remarks were prompted by the report of Hie headmaster (Mr F. C. Campbell) that a class in musical appreciation had been commenced at Hie school.
