The Hawke’s Ray louring cricketers met an Otago team this morning, in fine weather, on a good easy wicket. Hawke's Bay batted. After a bad start, two wickets being down for three runs to the howling of Badeoek and Dickinson, Browne played confidently with O'Brien, and at the luncheon adjournment the score was four wickets for 106.
