OLD FARMHOUSE DESTROYED. AIT.KLAND. Friday. Fire destroyed an old farmhouse jenown as Tim Cascades, at I’akurnngn, yesterday morning. Tim occupier, Mr A. Bradbury, and >. |wo daughters were in the milking (Umd. bul the housekeeper, Mrs N. M. (kilo, and her infant son were in bed. \wflkened by Hie smoke, they made hurried escape in their night attire. 'Plm building, which contained eight rooms, was insured for £2mi with the .New Zealand Insurance Company, and the furniture for £225 with the South British Insurance Company.
