SWAMP DRAINAGE
FRESHFIELD DISTRICT. APPOINTMENT OF TRUSTEES. Nominations of trustees for the Fresh field drainage district closed today, and as Hie number of names received by the returning office!' corresponds with the number of vacancies no election will he required. The nominations were called for in connection with Hie triennial election oi trustees for liie district. Following are liie trustees for the ensuing term : —Frederick Trench Williamson, James Waller Upson, George. McMullen. Alfred John Knight, John Ballard. Willi Ihe exception of Mr Upson all the nominees were re-appointed. Mr I pson fills the vacancy caused by tha death of the laic Mr G. 11. Boyd.
