DEATH ON RACECOURSE. WHILE SHOEING HORSE. EEILDINO. Wednesday. A well-known furrier, Mr A. Leader, dropped dead at Redding racecourse 10-day while in Ihe act of shoeing Shrewd for Ihe Redding Cup. MOTOR CYCLIST CRASHES. AUCKLAND. Thursday. While practising broadsiding at the Western Springs Stadium last evening. Mr. William McDcvitt, aged 27. lost control of his machine and crashed heavily, receiving concussion arid oilier head injuries.
