NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday. ‘‘ Wailara was an extremely unfortunate place in which to use the words,” said the Alagislrate, Air Tate, this morning, in fining Charles Te Wai £3, with costs 10s, for using insulting words to free labourers on November 24. A charge of using insulting words in McLean Street, Wailara, was also made against Thomas Henry Emeus, president of the Wailara Freezing Works Employees’ Union. A remand was asked for till December 8, and was granted.
