THE AUCKLAND MARKETS. BUSINESS STILL QUIET. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. There was no improvement in business on the Stcok Exchange at this call. ♦ Insurances were neglected, and South British were on offer at £2 15s 6d. Breweries were offered at £1 6s, but the best buyers of the latter offered £1 4s Gd. Colonial Sugars eased slightly, with sellers at £4B. In the mining section Okarilos were available at 8s 6d and Waihls at 18s Sd. Government stocks were dull. For 4 A per cent. Inscribed sellers quoted £94 15s. SALES RECORDED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. The following sales were recorded on the Stock Exchange to-day: Golden Sands, 2s. Grand Junction, 3s Gd. Mt. Lyell, 20s. Farmers’ Trading, 2s 7d. Henry Jones, 32s 9d.
