KENNEL CLUB.
SHOW AT TE AROHA. The newly-formed club’s first annual show opened at Te Aroha on Tuesday, and will continue on Wednesday. There were 453 entries catalogued, some of the competing dogs hailing from Rotorua, Ngaruawahia, Hamilton, Remuera, Epsom, Morrinsville, Hastings and St. Helier’s Bay. Mr N. Wade, of Auckland, acted as judge of all breeds. In the rough-coated collie classes Mr W. H. Prickett, of Hamilton, had signal success, and two specials, in addition to many first prizes, wera awarded to his exhibits. A number of first awards went to Mr S. S. Saulbrey’s exhibits in the English setter; classes.
