TRANSPORT PROBLEM
DISCUSSED AT A CONFERENCE. (By Tclepranh.—rress Association.) WEI.LINGTON, Tuesday. The draft regulations under the Motor Vehicles Act were discussed at a conference to-day. presided over by the Commissioner of Transport, to receive suggestions of amendments from various bodies. ; Many points of importance were discussed in an informal way, and a good deal of ground was covered. Lighting and braking took up a good deal of time, owing to tho English practice in many cases being not in accordance with the New Zealand regulations.
