AUCKLAND WOOL SALE.
TO OPEN ON THURSDAY. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The wool sale in Auckland will open on Thursday evening Instead of on Friday, as was originally fixed. A catalogue of 28,000 hales will be offered. An original limit of 25,000 bales xvas fixed by the Wool Committee, hut following representations by the Auckland Woolbrokers’ Association this was extended to 28,000 bales. A further extension to 30,000 bale* was sought by the association owing to the large qUahtity of wool offering, but the Wool .Committee has advised the secretary, Mr E. M. Edgar, that it is unable to authorise an extension above 28,000.
