NEW DISTRICT FORMED. DECISIONS AT CLAUDELANDS. The proposal to form Claudelands into a solo charge district was considered by a large and enthusiastio meeting of Claudelands Anglican parishioners in the Claudelands Hall last night. The Bishop of 'Waikato presided. After the scheme had been discussed it was decided to proceed with it, the Bishop Intimating that provided the necessary finance could be arranged, lie would ask the Rev. W. M. Smallfield to act as priest in charge of the district. It was announced that threequarters of Hie £IOO stipulated by the church committee as a nucleus fund had been promised, and the meeting was confident that the balance could be raised. The proposal that the new arrangement should come into force early next year was agreed upon.
