LONE MINER’S DEATH.
BODY FOUND IN WHARE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Saturday. A lone goldminer, Ernest McKenzie, aged about 60, was found lying dead on tho floor of his wiiare on the west bank of the Wahamarina River, about a mile from CanvasLown. Deceased had a small claim and was sinking a shaft. Ho lived alone in a rough whare and was seen only at irregular intervals. The body was found on llic lloor fully clothed. There were no signs of a struggle. The medical opinion is that death was due to natural causes.
