ANNIVERSARY SERVICES
AT WHATAWHATA. On Sunday anniversary services in connection with the- Whatawhata Sunday School were held. Frankton First Church choir members contributed several items. The Rev. S. Atkins presented to the winners the prizes won in the recent scriptural examination. The local children were very successful, winning three of the six prizes given for the Waikato district. A Frankton scholar. Miss A. A 1 kins, who sat to: the examination with the local Candida I os, was also a prize-winner. Prize-winners were: Madge Roth well, Bruce Sul ion and Alan Sperry. Special prizes were awarded Margaret Carlinson for memory work (the candidate gaining 99 per cent, in tin branch), and to Lewis Sperry an Kathleen Anderson for excellence essay.
